ABOUT LIFE ALLIANCE KANSAS
Life Alliance Kansas is a newly established, state-wide alliance dedicated to uniting pro-life pregnancy resource centers across Kansas. Our mission is to create a supportive network for pregnancy help organizations across the state of Kansas by fostering unity, empowering individual centers, and leveraging their ability to make a collective impact.
Guided by our vision to restore Kansas as a place where the lives of women, children, and men are valued, protected, supported, and upheld, we focus on collaboration, impact, unity and equipping our members for greater effectiveness. Through community building, education, and marketing support, Life Alliance Kansas provides the tools and resources pregnancy resource centers need to thrive in their missions while making a collective impact for life in the state of Kansas.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Location: Kansas (Remote with Statewide Travel)
Reports to: Board of Directors
Position: Part Time (20 hours/week)
As the first Executive Director (ED) of Life Alliance Kansas, you will have a unique opportunity to build and shape the future of a new organization. The ED will provide visionary leadership and operational expertise to establish Life Alliance Kansas as a trusted, impactful, and unifying resource for pregnancy resource centers across Kansas.
The ED will work closely with the founding Board of Directors to grow the organization’s capacity, recruit additional board members, and foster collaboration among member centers. This position requires a dynamic, faith filled leader who is passionate about the pro-life mission and skilled at building relationships, resources, and infrastructure from the ground up.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizational Development
- Establish operational systems, policies, and procedures for the newly formed organization.
- Collaborate with the founding board to recruit additional board members who align with Life Alliance Kansas’ mission and vision.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for organizational growth and sustainability.
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as the primary strategist and visionary, advancing the organization’s mission and vision.
- Unite pregnancy resource centers across Kansas around shared goals and foster meaningful collaboration.
- Provide tools, training, and resources to empower member pregnancy resource centers to increase their impact.
- Represent Life Alliance Kansas to donors, policymakers, member organizations, and other external stakeholders.
Resource Development
- Lead fundraising efforts, including donor cultivation, grant writing, and campaign execution to secure start-up funding and ongoing resources.
Collaboration & Advocacy
- Build relationships with pregnancy resource centers across Kansas, recruiting them into the alliance and fostering partnerships.
- Advocate for pro-life initiatives and policies aligned with the organization’s mission.
Operational & Financial Management
- Oversee the financial health of the organization, including budgeting, reporting, and fundraising.
- Manage communications, coordinate fellowship events and other day-to-day operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Experience
- Proven leadership experience in nonprofit management, preferably in a start-up or faith-based organization.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising and resource development, with the ability to secure start-up funding.
- Experience working with boards of directors, including recruitment and development.
- Knowledge of pro-life pregnancy resource centers and their unique needs.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
